Liz Vigoda Pottery Fundraiser

Longtime Capital Roots supporter, Liz Vigoda, began supporting Capital Roots in the early 2000s with donations of pottery to the annual Spring Brunch silent auction. With the cancelation of this long-standing event this year, due to COVID-19, Liz has brought her kiln to life in support of our mission.

Liz is offering large salad/fruit/bread mixing bowls to the Capital Roots community, with 100% of all proceeds benefitting Capital Roots' Essential Service Fund.

** 10 bowls are available now for immediate pickup. After they are claimed, more will be available after several weeks while more are produced. **

**LOCAL SALES ONLY**

Along with Liz's beautiful creations, we are offering packages that include the bowls filled with salad fixings from our youth job readiness and life skills training program, the Produce Project.

Description: Bowls are 11" in diameter and 5" tall. They are hand thrown and hand decorated with original designs. The stoneware bowls are durable and non-toxic, and while dishwasher safe, it is best to hand wash. Each piece is handmade, hand painted, and fired to 2180 degrees F. Each should be cared for as with any fine china. Sudden extreme temperature changes should be avoided. Bowls may be used for gently heating food in the oven or microwave, but not in a hot oven, broiler, or on the stovetop.
