I really support all of the folks that have supported me throughout this fundraising campaign, but we still have miles to go!   Think what it must be like for those that don't have enough to eat, especially on a weekend like we just had in the area!.  Well, Capital Roots provides food for people that don't have the ability to stock up at the grocery store before a big storm.   Please help me raise money for this great group!!

Community gardening is one of my mother's favorite things in the world.   I learned a lot from her community support and advocacy, helping people to help themselves with one of the most basic challenges we all face:  providing children and families with locally grown, nutritious vegetables & fruits.

Supporting me in my campaign will help Capital Roots continue to educate, support, grow and flourish with their mission to provide food throughout the Capital Region.   Let's SOW & GROW (and roll & bowl)!   Thank you - Matt

ABOUT Capital Roots' 22nd Annual Garden Bowl

January 26, 2019 | 2pm - 5pm | Uncle Sam Lanes, Troy

Each year, Capital Roots teams up with friends and businesses in the Capital Region for a winter bowling extravaganza called Garden Bowl.

In the months leading up to this annual event, bowlers invite donors to sponsor their games. Then they strap on their bowling shoes and compete winning prizes for high scores, highest fundraising, and more! Whether you throw gutter balls or bowl a perfect 300 you are welcome to join the fun. You have a chance to win ski passes, dining certificates and more while you spend the day bowling with friends, family and co-workers.

** First 50 people to raise $50 or more will receive a free Garden Bowl t-shirt! **
